In this solo show, Becky Bondurant traces her mother’s fading vision and increasingly outspoken anti-Trump Facebook posts, which feel uncomfortably pointed to some members of the family. At the same time, a viral meme has Becky’s high school English students convinced that Helen Keller was a fake. Trying to prove them wrong, Becky uncovers a radical, unsettling truth. Wry, incisive, and deeply personal, this monologue asks how we might find our way back to a shared reality, and what happens if we can’t.
